Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) treatment CAN help the healing process from radiotherapy damage done to tissue.

Some cancer treatments, such as radiotherapy, can cause damage to healthy tissue around the area being treated. Usually, that tissue damage heals normally over time. But sometimes nearby blood vessels lose the ability to supply enough blood to the healing area. When the blood supply is limited, cells do not get enough oxygen. This slows the healing process even more.
Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) treatment uses high pressure to increase the amount of oxygen you can breathe. This puts more oxygen into the bloodstream, which can help the healing process. You stay in a hyperbaric (high-pressure) chamber during the treatment, which can last from 60 to 90 minutes. Treatments are usually repeated over a number of days or weeks for the most benefit.
HBO does not cause many side effects, and they are usually minor.

Fenbendazole (pinworm medication)

Fenbenzadole - Mebenzadole

"These studies provided no evidence that Fenbendazole would have value in cancer therapy, but suggested that this general class of compounds merits further investigation." (NIH, Febenzadole as a Potential Anticancer Drug, 2014)

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is UNPROVEN to cure cancer.

Some studies suggest that vitamin D may protect against colon cancer and perhaps even cancers of the prostate and breast. But higher levels of vitamin D in the blood have been linked to higher rates of pancreatic cancer. At this time, it's too early to say whether low vitamin D status increases cancer risk and whether higher levels protect or even increase risk in some people. - National Institutes of Health, USA.

In an updated meta-analysis of RCTs, vitamin D supplementation significantly reduced total cancer mortality but did not reduce total cancer incidence.

Turmeric - Curcumin

A study suggests that compounds found in turmeric could potentially be helpful in treating cancer.  More research is needed to determine whether this effect is causal and if curcumin is as effective as traditional chemotherapy drugs.

Omega-3 Fatty Acid Supplementation

Preliminary findings suggest fish oil supplementation increases chemotherapy efficacy, improves survival, and helps to maintain weight and muscle mass in patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

However, in patients with gastric cancer, perioperative immunonutrition via an EPA-supplemented diet did not reduce body weight-loss after total gastrectomy compared with a standard diet. An EPA-enriched oral supplement improved tolerability of chemotherapy in patients with advanced colorectal cancer. And when combined with chemotherapy, fish oil supplementation may delay tumor progression in patients with colorectal cancer.

Ketogenic Diet

The Ketogenic Diet (KD) is a high-fat/low-carbohydrate/adequate-protein diet. Based on the results of rigorous preclinical and clinical studies performed thus far, the Ketogenic Diet would appear to be a PROMISING AND POWERFUL OPTION FOR ADJUVANT THERAPY for a range of cancers.

(Adjuvant means an addition designed to help reach the ultimate goal.)

"In conclusion, clinical application of KDs as an adjuvant therapy for cancer patients first requires that the KD be evaluated for its anti-tumor effect for each single type/genetic subtype of cancer in a preclinical setting, as the safety and efficacy of the KD strongly depend on the tumor entity and its genotype. Based on the results of rigorous preclinical and clinical studies performed thus far, the KD would appear to be a promising and powerful option for adjuvant therapy for a range of cancers. Cancer-specific recommendations await the findings of randomized controlled clinical trials."
