Carrot juice has been UNPROVEN to cure cancer. Overall, juicing is considered safe when it is used as part of a healthy diet.

Beta-carotene is not effective in treating heart disease, cancer or HIV or preventing cataracts or macular degeneration. (mskcc.org)

Vitamin A "supplementation" is ineffective in treating or preventing cancer.

Food sources of beta-carotene include deep yellow and orange fruits (apricots, cataloupe, papaya), squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, leafy greens and broccoli. (mskcc.org)

Extracted juices are no more healthy than whole foods.

Juice extractors remove the fiber-containing pulp that results in lowered fiber intake from fruits and vegetables.

Juicing fruits and some vegetables such as carrots or beets can contain a lot of sugar which may be harmful to diabetics and can contribute to weight gain.

Gerson Therapy uses juicing.
